Our goal is to provide the best possible orthodontic care for each patient. In order to do this, we have established policies that we hope will allow this treatment to be as convenient as possible for all concerned. We try very hard to schedule our day efficiently, so as to minimize the time you spend in our office at each visit (your time is just as important as ours.)
Our schedule: As explained above, we try very hard to keep appointments and treatments on schedule. To accomplish this, we need your help. Patients who are late for their appointments overlap into the time schedule for patients after them. Sometimes, tardiness may prohibit us from performing whatever task we had planned for that day. For this reason, late patients may be asked to reschedule their appointment. Although we like for people to be early, we cannot guarantee that early patients will be seen before their appointed time.
Appointments: Appointments are scheduled at intervals that allow for the best treatment progress. Missed appointments or repeated excessive tardiness will prolong treatment and necessitate an additional charge. We expect a twenty-four hour notice if an appointment cannot be kept. This allows us to fill that time with another patient or an emergency repair. Patients who repeatedly are "no shows", or late arrivals, or who have excessive breakage will not be given "choice" appointments during peak hours or the last appointments of the day.
