3D Printing

Our office also utilizes 3D printing technology for dental models.  Traditional impressions are usually limited to a one-time use. In certain situations, we might want to obtain a 3D scan of the dental arch for patients who are unable to have traditional impressions taken.  In other situations, we know that we will want to have multiple models for future use.

In those situations, we will use our Itero scanner take a 3D scan and save it for future applications.  Those scans can be turned into printed 3D models on our Formlabs printer which can be shared with other dentists or surgeons, or used for model construction.
